O my Mother, Most Sorrowful Mother, you didn’t abandon Jesus, you went to the foot of the Cross to assist Him in His death. You were not thinking of your own pain, but of the suffering and the death of your beloved Son. Your pain was made worse when you heard him complain to His Father of being forsaken. O Mary, crucified in your soul as your Son was crucified on the Cross; He is dead. However could you be consoled? |
